This show was for Valentine's Day, I think the band called it "Shmoopie Day."
Shawn played with a cast on his ankle.

Speakeasy Be My Valentine
Great quality soundboard recording. This is a grungy good version of "The Great Unknown"
song written about a festival in Northwest Arkansas. "Bodega" and "Movin'"
are also great versions of Speakeasy originals. 2nd set is mostly a Valentine's holiday foray, all these cover songs are fun but Cheesy-'Easy.
Be sure to check out the photos of the show cuz sometimes a picture is worth 1000MB words.

These Boys are Something Special
I have reviewed Speakeasy and once again I will give them props!! These guys really do have something that just puts them at the top of my "up and coming bands" list. I get the same kind of chill bumps listening to these guys as I do from my boys from Athens, GA. Let me add that they are some of the most kind people I have ever crossed both within the business and outside of the shows. On to this show, I live in Fayetteville, AR and this venue and the sound quality are spectacular. Same venue that Kimock plays in for three solid days, seating around 250-300 people. Speakeasy had a solid original first set with mostly V-Day covers in the 2nd. Some great guests with Stingray from MOV and Jeff Gray from Eckobase on trumpet. Download NOW!!!
